Our 10th anniversary
What it is
One day. Every strand of Tamil arts in Britain.
Tamil Arts UK has spent ten years putting Tamil music, dance and language in front of British audiences, from a first performance at the Balaji Temple in Birmingham in 2015 to more than 150 events across the UK and Europe.
London Sangamam is the largest thing we have attempted, and it marks that tenth year. One venue, one day, and the whole range of what we do in it.
A full day out where the children have something to do and the grandparents recognise every song.

You do not need to speak Tamil or know the art forms. Everything is introduced in English and the whole day is built so that anyone can follow along. Bring friends who have never been to a Tamil event.
Performers and teachers
Performers looking for an audience, and teachers looking for students. Come and be seen. We are still building the programme, so send us a message with what you do and any recordings you have.
